Dr. Marshall Anthony Jr. (Chegg) – Director of Public Affairs and Policy & Director of Chegg Center for Digital Learning
Dr. Anthony leads Chegg’s Center for Digital Learning, fostering global partnerships and data-driven insights to support educators, policymakers, and students in navigating higher education in the digital era. With 15 years of experience in education policy, he has worked with organizations such as the Institute for College Access & Success (TICAS), the Center for American Progress (CAP), and the Education Trust. His work has been featured in major outlets including CNN, NBC News, and The Chronicle of Higher Education. Dr. Anthony testified before the U.S. House of Representatives in 2021 on expanding access to higher education.
Dr. Zainab Okolo (JED Foundation) – Senior VP of Policy, Advocacy, and Government Relations
An expert in higher education policy and mental health, Dr. Okolo has dedicated her career to breaking down barriers for students, advocating for policies that enable them to thrive academically and personally. As a trauma-informed licensed mental health clinician, she has worked with individuals, families, and institutions on strategies to overcome stress and anxiety. She holds a doctorate in education from George Washington University, a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Syracuse University, and a bachelor’s degree in family science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Allison LoRusso (Think Strong) – Founder and President of Think Strong, a Clemson-based mental health initiative
A Senior Biological Sciences major and Spanish minor at Clemson University, Allison is the founder of Think Strong, a student organization dedicated to mental health awareness through burnout prevention. Think Strong advocates for integrating ‘brain breaks’ into students' daily routines to combat academic burnout and promote overall well-being.
